The Adirondack's are full of friendly people, but you'd be hard pressed to find 2 folks more welcoming than Joe and Edie, the owners of Amanda's Village. They are incredibly knowledgeable about the community, and provide all sorts of great recommendations around town. In a 5 minute conversation with these two, you can tell that they deeply care about the well being and enjoyment of their guests, as well as the health of the Adirondack's as a whole (particularly the moose!) The motel is in a great location, walking distance from downtown Saranac Lake and right across the street from Lake Flower. Fantastic place to stay for winter carnival!
Friendly face at the front desk, clean premises and room. Nothing fancy, just a good room with generous cable TV, a small fridge, and spotless bathroom.
Clean ,but tiny and dated..Host friendly and helpful.Over priced for what it is.
Second time here, nice place to stay when passing though Saranac Lake.
