took a 2hp honda to this authorized honda dealer on 2 occasions. first was to clean out the carburetor and get a tune up. it came back to me with a small gas leak near the very same carburetor. lived with the leak until fall of 2010 when i took it back to get the leak fixed. picked it up in late fall and never used it till spring 2011. once started gas was seriously leaking around the gaskets and air vent at the carburetor. it turns out the unskilled moron who worked on it cobbed up the air vent flange and never put in a bushing that is required to keep the carburetor secure and not leaking. the same moron or morons also did not use new gaskets when the carburetor was replaced (they in fact were torn at the bolt holes) i'm into these morons about $400. i didn't take the third strike and went to another authorized honda dealer to repair the damage Fogarty's morons administered as a authorized honda service dealer. i'm not a bser, this was absolutely inferior work on this motor. if you need mechanical help for your outboards in saranac lake ny i strongly suggest going somewhere where the mechanics are trained and not morons. copy to honda outboards!
I was very lucky to find Fogarty's Lake Flower Marina to help with a baring repair for my jet ski trailer. This shop is fantastic. Not only did they let me keep the jet ski and trailer on the lot no charge while waiting for a special order part, but they assisted me with the jet ski in other ways. Let's just say it was a few couple of crazy events, but they were great support, professional and got me on my way safely. I would definitely recommend this shop and staff for any boating needs you may have. Thank you so much !!!!!

Also I would not ever hesitate to just stop by the shop for advice or any help with boating, fishing, or water sports related needs. The staff there always goes above and beyond for me and my friends to provide us with gear and assistance. I have nothing but good words for Fogartys, they have made my summers up here more enjoyable and with anticipation for the next boating season winter seems to go by faster.
