Stayed over the memorial day weekend. Very nice. Lake Saranac is not crowded. Kim and Linda are very nice. Grocery Stores are nearby.
But evening after sunset it cooled down. Overall great place to stay. Fall colors should be great in this area.
Nice rooms, water activities provided which was really nice on a lake with very nice scenic view.
Loved our time at Ampersand. Accommodations were great. Liberal allowances for night time activities on premises generous. We will return!
The motor boat rentals are very reasonable.
However only one cottage has air conditioner.
We have been visiting Saranac Lake Islands State Park each Memorial Day for the past 12 years and relied on Ampersand Bay's beautifully maintained Lund boats in every one of them. Would never go anywhere else and always recommend them. Wonderful people, fair prices and simply excellent customer service. We've watched it grow each year and the resort is just gorgeous. Kudos to Ampersand, their stellar staff and quality rentals and amenities. We love this place!
