The food here was outstanding. Breakfast ranged from omelets to breakfast sandwiches, pastries and coffee. We arrived and waited outside before the restaurant opened for breakfast.
Great food and great atmosphere! James Sears is one of the cooks and makes THE BEST food EVER!!! Thanks for a great experience.
If you want bad service and no food, go here. We took the time on Saturday to explore Saranac Lake and wanted to grab a late lunch at Blue Moon. First we had to get our own menus, since no one brought us any. We placed our order and waited 45 minutes while other tables around us ate and paid their bills. We flagged down a waitress to look into our order and only at that time we're told "the menu item was 86ed and your order was never placed". The waitress then left, no offering for something else or apology. We will never be coming here again and suggest you do the same.
That stated, the reason they did not get five stars is because the tables were not cleaned and the bathroom looked like it needed a bit of cleaning too. You would imagine everything would be spotless at the start of the day.
