Once a year we camp out on the islands of the Lower Saranac. We always rent from these guys. Pay a little bit of an extra fee and they'll drop the canoe off and pick it up. It's perfect! Love dealing with them. Friendly staff, fair prices.

I have rented a kayak from them each June for a number of years. They have good maps and books and clothes also. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about paddling routes and put-ins in the area and have given me great tips and advice every year for interesting paddles that fit my interest and skill level.

Good place to get some last minute hiking supplies. They'll rent you a bear canister. Lost a star for over charging me for the rental and being totally un phased by it when I told them.
