Forgiving the logistical issue and just rating the food, 4-stars, will return next time I'm in the area.
We were still there when that order came out, and the chef was visibly annoyed - like, threw it down on the counter annoyed.Maybe not what you want your customers to see? I dunno, I'm not a local, maybe that's part of the charm of the place.
Good food, rough service.
Need to make their own meatballs cause Sysco does not cut it. And if for some reason they make their own meatballs, change the freaking recipe! This is an Italian Restaurant for goodness sake. Bread is great though...
Place was busy when we arrived, and they seemed to be struggling with the logistics. Waiting space is really tight (it's small) and the guy manning the register was also trying to work two phones, which caused him to mess up at least one order.
The two stars are me being VERY generous. The food for the most part isn't terrible, but stick to pizzas. They'll either screw up your order or feed you sub par food otherwise. At least the pizzas you can watch them make it.
The restaurant itself is dirty, cramped, and stuffy, with a generous helping of flies dive-bombing you throughout your meal, even in the coldest parts of February.
Food was alright. Garlic knots didn't have much flavor. Pizza was pretty good. Our waitress was friendly. Informal atmosphere. Free parking across the street from the restaurant.
We ordered for pickup some garlic knots, linguine, and a pepperoni roll. All of it was delicious.
Lastly, this is one of the few establishments short of a roadside fruit stand that I've seen only take cash in 2017. They say they have an ATM inside, which is fine if it A. Works and B. You don't mind paying $3.25 for the pleasure of converting your money into greenbacks for them. Seriously? That's ridiculous and the owner should be ashamed.
Bring cash!! They don't take credit cards!
Tl:dr?: Get a $20, have them make you a pie, and bring that thing home. Otherwise, go somewhere else.
Very rude. I told them when I ordered it was my first time ordering yet they failed to mention you have to pay cash. Therefore I won't of driving around on a Sunday trying to find an open bank. It would've been OK if they even took five bucks off the pizza but when they made me pay Full price for my pizza I was shocked. It was their air. Decent enough pizza but not worth the hassle don't order from here
